The "Revenge of the Kitchen" series pairs kitchen shelf items with companion books. Like Marie Curie’s laboratory, we wonder what is really happening in the kitchen: Burning? Freezing? Poetry? Color gone crazy? The quiet shelves seem touched with hysteria. Building and photographing of these assemblages is a kind of archaeology, saving what might be thrown away and telegraphing the messages they may contain.
